Not all weeks are created equal. Most of the time we’re in the thick of website editing, reconciling Quickbooks, and placing and processing orders. The platter is dishwasher safe, microwave safe, oven safe up to 250°… I fear I may be the target audience for personalized literally everything. One of our favorite parts of creating collections is how often inspiration sneaks its way into everyday life — a striped umbrella outside a little coastal restaurant, a woven bag tossed over a chair at the pool, blue hydrangeas on a kitchen counter, a dress you immediately pack for vacation, or something sitting in our online shopping cart at midnight because we simply cannot stop thinking about it. Garden Gate, Blue Heron, Coastal Palms, and Ocean Waves were all born from those kinds of moments, so we rounded up some of the home, fashion, entertaining, and lifestyle pieces currently inspiring us for summer and living right alongside these collections in our own homes. I’ve realized something about myself lately. No matter how long my to-do list gets, or how many tabs I have open in my brain at any given moment, I always end up reaching for a book at the end of the day. Usually with a glass of wine, occasionally with a snack I didn’t plan on eating, and almost always with a promise of only one more chapter. A life well salted 🩵 Please tell us that USPS has simply lost them in the mail 🙏Let us know if you’ve had similar experiences or if we are the only ones. Using an ice bucket for flowers might be one of our favorite entertaining tricks. Especially in the summer when hydrangeas are everywhere and you need something easy for a kitchen island, porch, or outdoor table. Behind every late-night idea, overcomplicated tablescape, last-minute product launch, and “wait… what if we did this instead?” is my mom patiently going along with it all.
